The 13th Asian Rowing Championship & the 15th Junior Rowing Championships will take place on the Dongshang River Regatta Course at Yi-Lan, Taiwan.
This course was the venue for the 7nd Asian Rowing Championships in 1997 and 8th Asian Junior Rowing Championships in 2002 and has been the site of International Collegiate Invitational Regattas from 1996 through 2005 and the annual Taiwan Rowing Championships since it was constructed.

The main transportation systems include railway, highway and city bus. The newly constructed Hsuehshan Tunnel has shortened the distance between the airport and Yi-Lan. It only takes about one and a half hour direct from the airport, and 40 min. to drive from Taipei to Yi-Lan.
